Being passionate about statistics, Metronomia statisticians will join and strongly recommend an event that  is a must for any member of the statistical world: The fifth Joint Statistical Meeting “DAGStat” 2019, taking place from 18 -22 March in Munich, with more than 400 presentations and more than 800 participants.

The plenary presentations will address a wide selection of current topics of all different areas of statistical applications such as medicine, economics and engineering. The conference is a platform that supports an exchange of statistical methods and encourages interesting and productive scientific discussions.

According to the motto "Statistics under one umbrella", the DAGStat is organized as a joint meeting of the "Deutsche Arbeitsgemeinschaft Statistik", including contributions of all fourteen societies that form the DAGStat in the conference program. The meeting also includes the 65th "Biometrisches Kolloquium" and the Spring Meeting of the "Deutsche Statistische Gesellschaft".

The conference will take place in the heart of the Bavarian capital, Munich, in the beautiful main building of the Ludwdig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU).
